Everyone who has commented has gone only off the facts that were presented. It appears Mr. Jones and his wife were negligent in the care of their children with one serving the ultimate price, death. They failed to check on their 11-month old in more than 8 hours. I know people who check on their pets more often than that. Granted the economy is in a bind there is no reason for this family to have a flat screen TV but lack bare necessities for their home. It just goes to show where their priorities are. In addition their house was found in disarray. You can argue that the trash in the front yard could've been thrown by anyone. However, I believe how your yard looks on the outside is an indication on how well it is kept inside. I saw a picture of the parents on another link. They showed no remorse. Just a look of being caught for their actions.
