Mrs. Margie Marjorie Ford Thomas of 7000 Auburn Avenue, Norfolk, died Thursday, July 18, 2002. Arrangements are pending.

Mary W. Wilkins, 81, of 917 Truman Rd. Suffolk, died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, in Autumn Care of Suffolk.

A native of Nansemond County, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arston Wilkins, her parents, Thomas and Christal Baines Wilson, and a son, Thomas Wilkins.

She had retired from Lummis Peanut Co.

She was a member of the Local 26 Retirees Club and Missouri Baptist Church, where she sang in the church choir.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessie W. Bryant, and her husband, Wilbert Bryant, of Suffolk; a brother, Willie Wilson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; .two sisters, Christal W. Haskins, and her husband, Roy Haskins Sr., of Brooklyn, and Martha Palmer of Long Island, N.Y; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Emma Wilson and Bonnie Wilson, both of Norfolk; and nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Missouri Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronnie Boone. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Wilbert and Jessie Bryant, 1340 Devonshire Court. Crocker Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
