Greater New Hope COGIC concludes revival tonight

Greater New Hope COGIC, 159 Wrenn Road, will conclude its three-night revival beginning at 7:30 p .m. Guest speaker is Evangelist Evelyn Square of Franklin. The theme for the revival has been &uot;A Wise and Godly Woman.&uot;
Square earned her bachelor’s degree from Virginia State University, and has taught in the Newport News School System for the past 29 years.
Square is president of the Door of Life Bible Institute, Franklin, and minister of music and assistant pastor at Scott’s Revival Center, where Bishop Clinton Scott is the pastor.
She has minister in Port-a-Spain, Trinidad as part of a team. She traveled to Israel in 1998.
Square is married to Deacon Ernest Square, and is one of 11 children to Bishop Clinton and Mother Bernice Scott.
nGreater New Hope will also observe Women’s Day beginning with 9:30 a.m. Sunday. The women will be in charge then.
Worship at 11 a.m. will featured District Missionary Nellie Towns of the Central District First Jurisdiction of Virginia for Churches of God in Christ, where Bishop Ted Thomas presides. She is a member of Mt. Lebanon COGIC, where Elder Larry Gray is pastor.
At 3 p.m., District Missionary Eloise Goodman of the Suffolk District will speak. She is a member of New Gospel Temple COGIC, where Elder Gerald Goodman is pastor.
