Mrs. Edith Mozell, 71, of 103 S. Court St., Windsor, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, at her residence.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Shiloh Baptist Church, Windsor, by the Rev. James Elam Sr. Interment will be in Tyler Cemetery, Windsor.

The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Monday. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge.

Jaiden A. Spiringer

Jaiden Alexander Spiringer, one-month-old son of William Joseph Spiringer and Jana Randolph Spiringer of Channing Avenue, Portsmouth, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, in the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.

Other survivors include a brother, William Joseph Spiringer II; maternal grandparents, John and Cathy Malcolm of Portsmouth; paternal grandparents, Nancy Farmer of Suffolk, and Robert Spiringer of Hampton; maternal grandfather, Robert Randolph of Pennsylvania; three maternal great-grandmothers, Lucy Malcolm, Alta Randolph and Dixie Strobel; two paternal great-grandmothers, Nancy Godwin and Pat Spiringer; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by Michael Hardin.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel.

Sarah E. Wiggins

Mrs. Sarah E. Wiggins, 78, of 3213 Longstreet Lane, Suffolk, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2002, in Obici Hospital.

She was a native of Nansemond County, and daughter of the late William and Fannie Lowther Wiggins. She was the widow of Willis O.C. Wiggins.

She had retired from the Holiday Inn. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Her survivors include two sons, Willie P. Wiggins and Larry Wiggins, both of Suffolk; two daughters, Louella Dildy, and her husband, Jefferson, and Evelyn Wiggins, all of Suffolk; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. George Smith and the Rev. William Wiggins. Interment will be in Corinth Chapel United Church of Christ Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge.
