Sylvia Arnold, on the News-Herald’s decision to stop running major league baseball statistics: &uot;I think most people who really like baseball still want to see who wins or loses, whether or not there’s a strike. Baseball players have a right to strike. The owners have the money, and the players are the ones that bring it to them.

&uot;The little leaguers say that they’ll play for nothing now, but they wouldn’t say that if they were in the big leagues. Players are normal like everyone else. It doesn’t bother me how much money they make, because I don’t care what anyone else has.&uot;
