Edward Branch, 92, 1141 Georgetown Road, Apt. 2, Norfolk, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. An interment service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Entombment will be in the mausoleum. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.

Carol Crittenden

Carol Camille Crittenden, 57, originally of Carrollton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002.

Carol was an avid angler, craftswoman, wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

A resident of Florida since 1985, she loved the river and all of its beauty. Many of her most pleasurable moments were fishing and crabbing on the beautiful shores of Florida rivers.

She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Crittenden, Jr., of South Daytona Beach, Fla.; daughters, Kim L. Pepe of Tarzana, Calif., and Selena M. Young of Deland, Fla.; step-son, Paul Albert Crittenden III; sister, Melanie K. Fischer of Broomfield, Colo.; and brothers, James A. Jones of South Daytona Beach, Fla., and Ted W. Boothe of Smithfield; five grandchildren, three nieces, a nephew; and pet bird, Slick.

Her sparkling eyes and beautiful smile will be missed by all of her family and friends. She could make you laugh at just about anything.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. at Cardwell & Maloney Funeral Home, 3571 Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange, Fla. 32129. Viewing hours for friends are today from 2-4 p.m.

She will be entombed at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the chapel. Viewing will be one hour prior to services.

Lloyd Cuffee

Lloyd E. Cuffee, 71, of 208 Widgeon Court, Suffolk, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002 at noon in the Greater House of Faith Apostolic Church, 1721 Brown Ave., Norfolk. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling arrangements.

Reuben E. March

Reuben Edward March, 78, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2002.

A native of Nansemond County, he was a son of the late Nola Lawrence and Harvey Dempsey March. A Navy veteran, he was a former insurance salesman and a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Delaware Hunt Club.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa March Hamic, of Newsoms; two sisters, Louise Blythe of Franklin and Mary Virginia Johnson and her husband, Elliott, of Suffolk; two brothers, Will March and his wife, Edna, of Hampton, and Tomy March of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, Carol Williams and her husband, Tim, of Courtland, Willie Fowler of San Diego, Calif., Brooks Hamic of Franklin, and Nathan Hamic of Newsoms; one great-grandchild, Austin Williams; a faithful friend, Ellen Adams Jr.

Mr. March was predeceased by two sons, Reuben E. March Jr. and John Ira March; one sister, Edna Cleaver; and five brothers, David, Bradshaw, Dalton, Johnnie and George March.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, in South Quay Baptist Church Cemetery

with the Rev. Keith Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
