Thorpe retires

Elder Ernest H. Thorpe has retired from service at Birdsong Peanut Factory.
He went there in October 1954, and left in May 2002.
A dinner in his honor was given by his wife, Minister Audrey Thorpe, on Aug. 10 in the East Suffolk Community Center.
One-hundred guests were present.
