Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson, son of Edward A. Jackson and Dorothy A. Daniels, was born in Suffolk on Jan. 24, 1955. The Lord called him to his eternal home on November 6, 2002.

Michael attended the former B.T. Washington High School in Suffolk. He served in the U.S. Army and was an Executive Chief Track Star. He was skillful at doing many things and could master any mob with his own skill by hand.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Anna; two children, Michelle E. Jackson of Chesapeake and Katrina Robinson of Suffolk; father, Edward A. Jackson; mother, Dorothy A. Daniels; stepmother, Shirley Thompson; stepfather, James E. Daniels; four brothers, James E. Daniels Jr., Lamont M. Daniels, Edward Jackson (Cathy) of Richmond; and Edward Thompson of Germany; four sisters, Helen McCoy (Kenny), Gwen Zimmerman Dildy (Jeffrey) of Woodbridge, Phyllis Bess of Suffolk and Cathy Warren of Franklin; a very special uncle and aunt, John and Brenda Diggs; aunt, O’Dell Evans of Portsmouth; two great aunts, Mollie Hugin of Suffolk and Emma McAllister; sister-in-law, Linda Maddey of

Suffolk and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 at T.E.Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Viewing will be held from noon-7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 at T.E. Cooke-Overton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Holly Lawn Cemetery.

Elizabeth Liverman

Elizabeth Liverman, a resident of Down East Health and Rehabilitation Center, Gatesville, N.C. was called home on Nov. 7, 2002. She was the widow of Eddie M.

Liverman and a member of St. John Community Christian Church of Roduco, N.C. She was born in Tyrell County, N.C. on April 25, 1910.

She is the mother of nine children, three of which preceded her in death.

She left to cherish her memory five daughters, Betty Parker of Gates, N.C.; Martha Farrow of Eure, N.C.; Laura Bond and Theresa White of Eure, N.C.; Delores Eure of Gatesville, N.C.; one son, Albert Liverman of Hamilton, N.J.; 26 grandchildren, 51great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

The wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at St. John Community Christian Church, Roduco, N.C. A homegoing service will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 at St. John Community Christian Church.

Interment will be held at the Liverman Family Cemetery, Gates, N.C.
