Mrs. Ida Scott Mann, 85, of 626 E. 28th St., Brooklyn, N.Y., died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, in King County Hospital, Brooklyn. A native of Nansemond County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Scott and Pauline Brinkley Scott. She was the widow of Joe Mann.

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Hobson, its Missionary Circle, Mother’s Board, a Sunday School teacher and the Watch Care ministry. She was a member of House of Prophecy, Brooklyn.

Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Cottle of Brooklyn; 26 siblings; 18 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Crocker Funeral Home Chapel, Suffolk. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Suffolk.

The family will assemble at the funeral home at 12:45 p.m.
