NRHS DECA reporter

Nansemond River High School DECA officers recently attended the District 19 DECA Officers’ Training Conference. District 19 includes Nansemond River, Lakeland, Franklin, Smithfield, I.C. Norcom, Churchland, Windsor, and Wilson high schools.

Laura Smith, DECA co-advisor at Lakeland High School, installed the following DECA officers: president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, reporter, historian, and parliamentarian.

Following the installation of officers the students competed in a bowling tournament. The DECA reporters and historians won the competition. Brianna Emery and Annie Sze were on the winning team.

Lakeland, Nansemond River and Wilson DECA reporters and historians received a trophy representing his/her school.
