Dollie L. Whitfield

Mrs. Dollie Louise Whitfield, 66, of 16541 Bowling Green Rd., Smithfield, died Jan. 12, 2003, in Riverside Medical Center. She was a native of Isle of Wight Co. and was the daughter of James T. Holliman and Carphine Parker Holliman.
She was the widower of Rev. Alphonsa M. Whitfield Sr.
She retired from Smithfield Packing Co. and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, Buckhorn section of Suffolk. She was a member of the Senior Choir, a deaconess and missionary.
Her survivors include two sons, Alphonsa M. Whitfield (Patricia) of Suffolk and Ronnie T. Whitfield, (Margienette) of Newport News; three daughters, Helen Stallings (Douglas) of Hampton; Cynthia Everett of
Smithfield and Brenda Diggs (Jerry) of Smithfield; two sisters, Georgia Warren (Samuel) of Smithfield and Loretta Lankford (Melvin) of Windsor; three brothers, Alexander Holliman Sr. (Curlie B.) of Windsor; John B. Holliman of Smithfield; and Ben Frank Holliman (Blanche) of Windsor; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. J.J. Ferguson.
Interment will be held in Tyler Family Cemetery, Windsor.
