Mr. Uklee Baker of 120 Bute St., Suffolk, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at his residence.

Arrangements will be announced later. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is in charge.

Mr. Harry William Barnes, 50, of 1306 Sierra Drive, Suffolk, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at his residence.

A native of Nansemond County, he was a son of Marion Barnes of Suffolk, and the late Joseph ‘Joe Barnes.

He was a self-employed painter.

Other survivors include three daughters, Toni Baxter, and husband, Stanley, of Norfolk; Andrea Barnes of Chesapeake; and Akia Barnes of Suffolk; five sisters, Clara Porter-Darden of Chesapeake; Gloria Scott of Suffolk; Cynthia McCoy of Portsmouth, Brenda Williams of Essex, Md.; and Evangelist Annette Barnes-Bell of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Michael Copeland of Suffolk; six grandchildren; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives; and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Paul Baptist Church by Elder C.V. Russell III. Interment will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Friday. The family will receive friends at the residence.
