Brittany Compton was one of five members of the Orange Crush to score as her team defeated the Thundercats 14-4 in Parks and Recreation indoor soccer action Saturday at Oakland Recreation Center. Cristina Valdivieso scored five goals for the Crush, with Andrew O’Connor and Drew Wisniewski added three apiece. Compton knocked in two goals and Donald Parrot one. Wade Cotton and Jerry Hertzog had two goals each for the Thundercats. The win moved the Crush’s record to 4-1, keeping them tied for first with the winner of the Storm/Explosion contest, which was uncompleted at press time.
