Mrs. Shirley A. Murphy-Cross of Suffolk announces the engagement of her daughter, Sherry A. Cross, to Edward J. Jordan, both of Suffolk.

He is the son of Mrs. Dorothy Jordan of New Jersey.

Miss Cross is the maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William A. Murphy, and the paternal granddaughter of Mrs. Fannie M. Cross of Franklin.

Mr. Jordan is the maternal grandson of Mrs. Mary Jordan of Suffolk, and paternal grandson of Mrs. Amy Kerslor.

The wedding will take place Saturday, June 28 in the Friendship Garden of Portsmouth Park.
