Albert Bowman of 1104 Cavalier Blvd., Portsmouth, died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, in Maryview Medical Center. He was a native of Winston-Salem, N.C.

He had retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Station as a mechanic.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Bowman; daughter, Crystal Bowman of Portsmouth; two grandchildren; Craig Bowman, and Latricia Bowman; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Joyner of Suffolk; Cora Joyner of Newark, N.J.; and Evelyn Roberts of Portsmouth; one brother-in-law, George Joyner of Brooklyn, N.Y.

The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8 in Meadowbrook Memorial Garden.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
