Hugh Albert Britt was called home Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, from his residence in Philadelphia, Pa. He was born on Dec. 11, 1923, in Southampton County.

He is survived by two sons, Watson King of Spring Valley, N.Y.; and Hugh Jones of New York; a daughter-in-law, Diane King; one sister, Marie Myrick of Suffolk; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Monday, Feb. 10, in Crocker Funeral Home, Suffolk. Interment will be held in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
