The National Register’s Who’s Who Publications recently named Dr. Melvin R. Boone to be in the 2004

edition of Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals. The publication is a leader in biographical publishing and recognizing business achievers.

Recognition in this highly successful publication includes executives, professionals and business owners on various levels of success.

Boone’s name was provided through the efforts of Dun & Bradstreet (NYSE:DNB ), the leading provider of global business informational technology solutions.

Boone is the past president of the Virginia University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, and heads the M.R. Boone Foundation. According to Boone, the foundation has been the source of many new renovations on the campus.

Boone was also the pastor of Metropolitan Baptist Church on County St. before retiring in December 1999 after 34 years of service. He is now Pastor Emeritus of the church.
