Windell Peele and Sandra R. Peele announce the engagement of their daughter, Tabatha Peele, to Keith Torrance Bowers, both of Suffolk.

Keith is the son of James E. Bowers II of Franklin, and Margaret A. Bowers of Suffolk.

Tabatha is the maternal granddaughter of Myrtle M. Ruffin of Suffolk, and the late Harold A. Ruffin. She is the paternal granddaughter of Lorenzo and Eloise Peele of Suffolk.

Keith is the maternal grandson of the late Leroy and Thelma Craig of Suffolk.

He is the paternal grandson of the late James and Lillie Mae Bower, who lived in Franklin.

Together, Keith and Tabatha have a son, Klamente Peele Bowers.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Norfolk State University with a bachelor of science in biology with an emphasis on pre-professional.

She is employed with Suffolk Public Schools as a biology teacher.

The groom-to-be is employed with Smithfield Foods, where he crew chief.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12 in First Baptist Church Mahan Street.
