Eva Mae Mann, 84, of 512 Chilsholm Lane, died Feb. 14, 2003, at home. She was the widow of Leroy Mann.

She was a native of Warsaw, N.C., and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ Disciples, its usher board and choir. She was a volunteer with Suffolk senior centers and a member of the Senior Gospel Choir.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Diane Flora; one son, Ronald A. Mann of Suffolk; mother, Addie Mae Mitchell; father, Willie Mitchell; one sister, Evangeline Barnes of Suffolk; and one brother, Henry Mitchell.

Survivors include a longtime companion, Mr. James Harvey III.

The funeral will be held at noon on Thursday, Feb. 20, at Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, 2008 Gum Ridge Rd., Virginia Beach.

Interment will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive relatives and friends for remembrance and visitation on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at the funeral home.
