Capron’s Southampton Motor Speedway begins the 2003 season Saturday, March 22. The front gates will open at noon, with practice starting at 2 p.m. and the first race getting under way at 4 p.m. The Late Model 200-lapper on Opening Day will be the first event in the track’s five-race &uot;Super Series.&uot; The next events will be held on May 23, July 3, Aug. 29, and Sept. 19. Among those competing for the regional title will be 2002 Southeastern Coastal champion Jimmy Caudill (right).
