Andrew L. Paul Sr. of the 500 block of Chisholm Lane, Suffolk, died Friday, March 7, 2003, in Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth.

He was a member of Tabernacle Christian Church, where he served on the Senior Usher Board and the Men’s Fellowship.

Mr. Paul had retired from Kraft Foods and Ciba Specialty Chemicals.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra M. Paul; two sons, Andrew L. Paul Jr. (Tammy McNeil-Paul) of Aston, Pa.; Gregory B. Paul (Tina M. Paul) of Chesapeake; one granddaughter, Santina B. Paul of Chesapeake; two sisters, Gloria Utley (Daniel) of Killeen, Texas; Elnora Felton (Clarence) of Suffolk; six brothers, Joseph Paul Jr., Linwood Paul, Christopher Paul (Esther), Willie Paul, Melvin Paul (Sarah), and Aaron Paul, all of Suffolk; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday, March 11, in Tabernacle Christian Church by Dr. Carlton R. Upton Sr. The burial will be at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
