Warriors lucky loss was scrimmage

Luckily for the Nansemond River boys varsity soccer team, their loss to visiting Grafton High School Thursday was only a scrimmage (the final score was unavailable at press time, but the Clippers were ahead 6-0 at halftime. Ritter made 15 saves in the half. Geoff Early, Galen Small, Nick Zablonski, Daniel Fogerty and Thomas Fields scored for Grafton. The Warriors open their regular season Tuesday at Wilson.
