Faith Temple Apostolic Church observed its third annual Senior Appreciation Day last month in the fellowship center on Brook Avenue. The banquet was given for seniors age 60 and up, with five new honorees this year, which made a total of 41. Pastor Ella Hargrove of Judah Tabernacle, Newport News, was the speaker. Wenda Smith of Missouri Baptist was guest soloist. Awards were presented by Bishop Obadiah Colander, pastor, and Vice Mayor Leroy Bennett.
