Mrs. Eva &uot;Sugar Bae&uot; Hawkins, 87, of 238 Holladay St., Suffolk, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at her residence. A native of Isle of Wight County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Wright and Annie Wright, and the widow of Lee Hawkins.

She had retired from domestic work.

Her survivors include three sons, Herbert Hawkins and John Hawkins (Carol), and Alphonso Hawkins (Jeanette), all of Suffolk; a brother, Bobby Wright (Bernice) of Portsmouth; a sister, Belinda Savage of Sufoflk; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church, Mahan Street, by Bishop Madison G. Copeland. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
