Zelma B. Flipper

Ms. Zelma M. Berry Flipper of 117-04, 202nd St., St. Albans, New York, died Sunday, March 30, 2003, in the Woodbridge Rest Home. She was a daughter of the late Willie T. Berry and Emma Barnes-Berry, and the widow of Charles Flipper II.

She had retired from the Queens General Hospital after many years of service.

She is survived by a daughter; Eve Flipper of St. Albans; a son, Charles Flipper III (Fraha) of Richmond; three grandchildren, Diamond, Lakia, and Daniel Flipper; three sisters, Beatrice B. Luke of Suffolk, and Margaret Williams and Cynthia Jones of New York.

The funeral was held Tuesday, April 8, 2003, In New York. Interment was held in Calverton National Cemetery.

New York Mortuary services was in charge.
