Helen Iris Lowe Warren, 78, of Suffolk, died Thursday, April 17, 2003.

A native of Ivor, she was the widow of Thomas J. Warren, and was a daughter of the late Mabel Drewery Lowe and Saint Luke Lowe.

She was a former clerk for Goodwill in Suffolk, and was a member of Ivor Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Judy C. and Jerry York of Charlotte, N.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry L. and Ernestine W. Warren of Suffolk; Glenn T. and Linda B. Warren of Gates, N.C.; and Jerry L. Warren and friend, Leslie Poplin, of Suffolk; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sisters, Inez Holt, Elise Asbell, Louise Holt, and Juanita Rousse; and a brother, Haywood Lowe.

The funeral will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in Parr Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Laine officiating. Interment will be in Ivor Cemetery.

Friends may join the family from 7-8 p.m. Friday night in the funeral home.
