Two more winners have carried home prizes won in the News-Herald’s &uot;Coloring Contest&uot; and &uot;Trivia&uot; pages.

Myesha Butts, a 7-year-old student at Mack Benn Jr. Elementary, won the coloring contest with an elaborate depiction of &uot;Pooh&uot; and friends.

&uot;I got the ideas for my colors from the &uot;Winnie the Pooh&uot; books I read,&uot; said Myesha. &uot;I like the stories, and when he has a problem he always finds a way to solve them. It always teaches me something. I like the colors too, because they are bright.&uot;

This is not Myesha’s first time as a News-Herald winner. She won the News-Herald’s coloring contest in 2000, and her coloring projects were on display in the courthouse and at school.

In her latest win, she took home a DVD player. She is allowing her family to use it for movies and, of course, Winnie the Pooh is one DVD often viewed.

&uot;I plan on winning more contests because I draw and color all the time,&uot; said the little girl. &uot;I love to color and draw and I plan to be an artist when I grow up.&uot;

Myesha’s mother, Benita Butts, said her daughter is an honor roll student and has been since kindergarten.

&uot;I’m very proud of my daughter and I take the News-Herald because they do have the hometown news and they help the community with things like this,&uot; said Butts. &uot;I have to have my paper every day just to keep up with what’s going on in Suffolk and especially at the schools.&uot;

In the News-Herald’s Trivia Contest, Joy Myers, of Waterwheel Crescent, is the winner. She and her husband, Eric, didn’t have the budget for a DVD player and they are thrilled at winning the contest. Eric Myers is an electrician with dreams of becoming a video game designer. To achieve his dream, the couple is moving to Oklahoma so that he can attend Northern Oklahoma College. The couple is staying with Joy’s parents, Robert and Marie Johns.

&uot;My dad found it (the trivia contest) in the News-Herald and asked me to do it,&uot; said Joy Meyers. &uot;I was shocked to find out that I won. We’ve been wanting to get a DVD player for a long time but with our moving and all, we just didn’t have the money. This is one small dream come true and it’s because we read the News-Herald.&uot;
