Eunice P. Bryant

Eunice Pruden Bryant, 94, a longtime resident of Sedley, died April 29, 2003, at the East Pavilion. Born in Nansemond County, she was a daughter of the late Mills Edward and Nancy Babb Pruden and the widow of Fenton Lee Bryant. She was a member of Hunterdale Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Edith B. Barden and Rachel B. Jones and her husband, Elmore, all of Suffolk; two sons, John R. Bryant and his wife, Opal of Virginia Beach and Fenton L. Bryant Jr. and his wife, Dorothy, of Colonial Heights; 15 grandchildren and
15 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three daughters, Jean B. Newsome, Lucille B. Pittman and Sandra B. Maddrey; a son, Bruce T. Bryant and a brother, Mills Edward Pruden Jr.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Wright Funeral Home. Franklin, with the Rev. Howard L Vinson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and suggest memorials be made to a favorite charity.
