Both Craig Taylor (above) and Whitney James saw their Lakeland teams fall to Great Bridge on the diamond Thursday. The Lady Wildcats won 3-1, and the final score in baseball was not reported (through the Wildcats were ahead 11-1 in the top of the seventh). The Lakeland junior varsity and varsity girls soccer teams both fell 5-0, and both boys teams fell, with the varsity team coming out with a 3-1 loss. Calvin Davis scored the lone Cavalier goal.
