Mary L. Elliott, 63, of 1005 Cogic Square, Suffolk, died Friday, May 9, 2003.

A native of Edenton, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Lillian Sessoms and William Thomas Elliott Sr.

She was a member of Grace Apostolic Bibleway Church, where she served as a second Mother.

Her survivors include one daughter, Edith Elliott (Alfred) of Suffolk; one son, Arthur Elliott (Phyllis) of Suffolk; three sisters, Odessa Bellamy, Lizzie Elliott and Edna C. Hill, all of Suffolk; two brothers, Douglass Elliott of Waterbury, Conn., and William Thomas Elliott Jr. of Hobbsville, N.C.; a devoted friend, Richard C. Crocker; one granddaughter, Monique Elizabeth Baker; one goddaughter, Alma Faulks; and several other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, in Grace Apostolic Bibleway Church by Elder Wallace Johnson. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 12, in Crocker Funeral Home Inc., Suffolk.
