Mr. and Mrs. Ron Jenkins of Conway, N.C. and Mr. Timothy Terry of Kill Devil Hills, N.C. announce the engagement of their daughter, Holley Nicole Terry, to David Lawrence Taylor II.

David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor of Suffolk.

The bride-elect is a junior at Chowan College in Murfreesboro, N.C., where she majors in history.

David graduated from Chowan College in 2002, and works for the Chowan Herald as a graphic designer; he is also a freelance illustrator.

The wedding is set for 8 p.m. Saturday, June 14, in Gatesville Baptist Church. Pastor Gene Asbill will preside over the ceremony.
