Eric Berry (first base) and Greg Sexton (utility) of Nansemond River were named to the first All-Southeastern District baseball team, and teammate Chris Topping (second base) made the second team.

Cypress Pool to open Saturday

The Parks and Recreation Department will open Cypress Park Pool on Saturday, May 24. The pool will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. Sessions will run from 1 to 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 to 6 p.m. The cost is $.50 for children ages 5-17, adults are $1, and children four and under are free.
