The Suffolk Tennis Association (STA) will conduct Clinic #2 beginning June 16 at the Howard Mast Tennis Complex and continue for two weeks Monday through Friday. The cost will be $35 for beginners through intermediates and $25 for munchkins. The schedule will be as follows: munchkins – 8:30 to 9:15 a.m., beginners – 9:15 to 10:30 a.m., advanced beginners-from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., intermediates- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Howard Mast and Michelle Grover will lead the teaching staff composed of volunteer junior players and some selected adults. If you cannot pick up your child immediately after the lesson, we will be on location until 5 p.m. Registration has begun and will continue to June 16. It is held at the courts from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Team Tennis program, sponsored by the STA, will begin play June 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mast complex and the Nanse-mond-Suffolk Academy courts. All 12 teams (made up of two boys and girls) will be June 8 and June 15.

All adults interested in tennis lessons and/or league play should report to the Mast courts Tuesday nights at 5:30 p.m. to learn about the STA’s proposed program. Group lessons will be offered on Thursdays, with league for men on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and for women on Thursdays and Sundays. For more information, please call 934-7822 or 539-3723.
