June Ellise Merriman, 69, of 801 Cherry Forest Ct., Chesapeake, died Tuesday, June 17. The funeral will be held at noon on Saturday, June 21 at Lee’s Chapel AME Church at 1036 Bells Mill Rd., Chesapeake. Burial will be held in Roosevelt Memorial Park in Chesapeake. Viewing will take place from noon-7 p.m. Friday, June 20.
