Carl Linsey Ashe of South Boston, formerly of Suffolk, died Tuesday, July 22, in Halifax County at the age of 83.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 26, in the Williams Temple CME Church with the Rev. George Brown officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in Jeffress Funeral Home, 2000 N. Main St., South Boston, and other times at the residence, 7110 River Road, South Boston.
