Mrs. Clarice M. Fox, 88, of Suffolk, died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Autumn Care Nursing Home, Portsmouth. She was a native of Nansemond County, and a daughter of the late Lelia Mae Jones and Henry Brinkley and widow of Lorenzo Jessie Fox Sr.

She was a member of Macedonia Church and its Deaconess Board.

She is survived by one son, Bobby Foxx of Richmond; two brothers, Charles Brinkey and Maxie Brinkley, both of Suffolk; two sisters, Edna James (Larry) of Newark, N.J.; and Marie Hill of Suffolk; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, in Macedonia Baptist Church, by the Rev. Jeffrey Knight. Interment will be held in Macedonia Church Cemetery.
