Bettie Pope and Moses Towns Jr., both of Suffolk, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathy Laronda Pope, to Darren Montez Moseley, also both of Suffolk.

He is the son of Enell Watson and Benjamin Moseley, both of Southampton County.

The wedding will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in Lakeview Baptist Church, 635 Brook Ave.
