What creates jobs as well as an enhanced lifestyle for all Suffolk citizens is the foresight of city officials and IDA members who help facilitate the development of the Hilton Hotel complex in downtown.

Our lives will be greatly enhanced as a citizenry when physicians hold conferences at the hotel, when medical care providers hold continuing education meetings at the hotel, when accounting firms meet, when law firms meet, when religious institutions confer at the hotel, and when academicians meet to discuss education of our children.

And here is an added bonus, the city will derive revenue!

So, all those who may worry about the economics of the deal, rest easy. Let’s create jobs for our citizens, and let’s enjoy the fruits of their labor.
