Joan C. Nungesser, 71, of 849 St. John Millennium Road., Aulander, N.C., died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, in Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of the Harrell & Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Gregg Parrisher officiating. Interment will be held in Shiloh Cemetery, Windsor.

Friends may join family from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Harrell and Hill Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
