We’re losing war

Editor, the News-Herald:

It doesn’t take an atomic scientist to figure out that we are losing the way in Iraq when more soldiers are killed after the war is over than during the war.

What this war needs is a good old-fashioned dirt farmer. Better yet, 10 dirt farmers who know how to drive a tractor. Give each farmer a big tractor with a single plow behind it and tell them to plow up the bare land in Iraq.

Why? Simple. If you were Saddam where would you hide your weapons of mass destruction? A hole in the ground would be the easiest and simplest way. Any dirt farmer with a plow could find them. If 10 won’t do it, hire 100.
