April Ruth Joe, 76, of 1014 Truman Road., Suffolk, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, in Obici Hospital.
A native of Ivor, she was the widow of David L. Joe, and a daughter of the late Clyde and Eula Fisher.
Mrs. Joe was a retired employee of Pond’s Brothers Peanut Factory.
She was a member of the Greater First Baptist Orlando Church, where the Rev. Henry G. Baker is senior pastor.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Robin Hayes (Carlton); two sons, Clyde Fisher (Hattie) and Charlie Cherry (Mattie); two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Wyatt and Mrs. Mary Ricks; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, in the Greater First Baptist Church Orlando.
Interment will be held in Carver Cemetery.
The wake will be held from7-8 p.m. in Abraham Applewhite & Sons Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at 1018 Truman Road.
