Parks and Rec. youth league basketball starts in late Sept.

Suffolk Parks and Recreation will be holding registration for youth basketball from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays from Sept. 27 to Nov. 1 at all of Suffolk’s rec. centers The cost is $40 for Novice (5-7), and $45 for Pee-Wee (8-10), Midget (11-12) and Junior (13-14). Suffolk Parks and Recreation will be holding registration for youth indoor soccer from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays from Sept. 27 to Nov. 1 at Mack Benn, Oakland, King’s Fork, and Northern Shores Rec. Centers. The cost is $40 for Novice (5-7), and $45 for Pee-Wee (8-10), Midget (11-13) and Junior (14-15). Proof of age and residence is required upon registration, and a $10 fee will be added for non-residents. A coaches meeting will be held at Birdsong at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25.
