Courteous service at Suffolk DMV appreciated

Editor, the News-Herald:

I visited the Division of Motor Vehicles in Suffolk on Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised.

The place was full, and I had that sinking feeling of a long morning waiting for my number to be called. The ladies that work there were both friendly and working.

All the windows were open and the wait was not what I expected; even those waiting were pleasantly surprised.

I also met other friendly people from Suffolk and that shortened the wait, like a short visit from a long-lost friend.

Thanks again for excellent service, ladies. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

To the DMV commissioner, every DMV office should be so courteous and friendly. These ladies set the example for all DMV offices.

To the governor of this state, you should never close or reduce the hours of an office of the state that takes in so much money.
