Mack L. Hyman

Mack L. Hyman, 68, of 410 St. James Ave., Suffolk, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, in Harbor Point Nursing Home.

Mr. Hyman was a native of Nansemond County, and was the son of the late Charlie Hyman and Mary E. Hyman.

He had retired from Peanut City Iron and Metal Co. after 25 years of service.

Survivors include one daughter, Valerie Bradshaw of Suffolk; one son, Sylvester Coles of Suffolk; one sister, Bertha Hyman of New York; three brothers, John E. Hyman, and wife, Ophelia, of Capital Heights, Md.; Junious Hyman of Ocean City, Md.; and James Hyman of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and special friends and caretakers William Wilson and Gladys Knight.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wyatt & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Parson officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday in Wyatt & Sons Funeral Home Inc.

Family and friends will assemble for the procession at 1 p.m. Saturday at 410 St. James Ave.
