Editor, the News-Herald:

As Election Day draws near, I am eager to share with my fellow citizens of Suffolk my support for the election of Randy Carter as our next Clerk of Court. I am extremely proud of the growth and progress of our city and feel that Randy Carter can be a significant force in continuing to move our city to the cutting edge.

Randy Carter is uniquely qualified for the position of Clerk of Court through his years of impeccable service to our city, but equally so, through the skills and abilities that he has demonstrated as an active involved citizen of our city. He is a lifetime resident who has involved himself in the building of a better Suffolk. As an attorney, his demonstration of outstanding skills in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, and his knowledge and commitment to technology and the role it can play in making for more efficient operation of the office of the Clerk of Court unquestionably makes him the best candidate for the job.
