Helen M. Vinson

Helen Mae Vinson, 61, of 108 S. Fourth St., Suffolk, died Oct. 30, 2003, in Obici Memorial Hospital.
A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of Richard and Bessie Jenkins Faulk and the widow of Clinton R. Vinson. She was also preceded in death by a son, Clinton R. Vinson Jr. She attended New Mount Joy Family Worship Center.
She is survived by four sons, James Vinson of Baltimore, Md.; Ronnie Vinson and his wife Linda of Suffolk; Terry L. Vinson and his wife, Tracey of Berlin, Md.; and Jerry Vinson of Suffolk and his wife Rose of Philadelphia, Pa.; one daughter, Patricia Vinson of Philadelphia; two sisters, Barbara Ann Evans of Suffolk and Michelle Michael of Atlantic City, N. J.; six brothers, Richard Faulk (Michelle) of Suffolk; Gary Faulk (Frances) of Philadelphia; Larry Faulk (Brenda), James Faulk (Sandra), Ernest Faulk (Renee), and Tony Faulk (Eloise), all of Suffolk; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in New Mount Joy Family Worship Center by Dr. William P. Wiggins. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
