Bonnie Jean Duke, 45, of Suffolk, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2003.

A native of Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Evelyn C. Parretta.

She formerly worked as a security officer for the Virginia Department of Corrections.

She was a member of Moatstown Baptist Church in Moyers, W.Va.

She is survived by her husband, Guy A. Duke Jr. of Suffolk; daughters, Michelle Parretta, Dannielle Campbell, Kendall C. Reel, and Jeanette Beiler; grandchildren, Chelsea Moats, Michael Evan Smith, Amir Jabeur, Kenzie Rohrbaugh, and Preston Beiler.

Had Mrs. Duke lived, she soon would have been a grandmother to three more grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Jack Nicholas officiating.

Interment will be in Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.

Friends may join the family from 7-8 p.m. Thursday in Parr Funeral Home.
