Editor, the News-Herald:

I am Freddie J. Wiggins, president of the Suffolk Substitute Teachers Association.

The association members and I have watched carefully as plans have been set forth for our school system. Plans for new constructions and for renovation of present facilities are designed to make sure that our students are ready for the 21st century. It is good to be part of the progress that is unfolding in our education system.
