AAU tryouts and conditioning for the 14U and 12U girls teams will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 8, and from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 10, 13 and 17 in Mack Benn Recreation Center.

STA banquet to be held Nov. 8

The Suffolk Tennis Association will be holding its annual tennis banquet at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Nansemond River Golf Club. Local champions will be awarded their trophies. The new board will be announced and dinner will be served.

Whitney Saunders, who recently teamed with fellow Suffolkian Harry Cross as part of a national-championship-winning doubles team, will be the event’s featured speaker.
