Amber Griggs, Jeremy Richeal exchange vows at Kerr Lake

Amber Michelle Griggs of Windsor and Jeremiah William Richeal of Chesapeake were married Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at Kerr Lake.

Amber is the daughter of Richard and Peggy Griggs of Windsor.

Jeremiah is the son of Michael and Mary Blair of Chesapeake.

The bride is the maternal granddaughter of Florence M. Williams of Suffolk, and the late William J. Williams. She is the paternal granddaughter of the late Nanoline J. Griggs.

The groom is the maternal grandson of Oscar and Ellen Abbott of Suffolk.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Amber Lassiter served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Judith Griggs, Zena Carter and Dawn Koger.

Ben Mayer served as best man. Groomsmen were Danilo Blair, William Roberts and William Abbott.

Scott Griggs and Alex Naslund served as ring bearers while Grace Griggs, Kaitlyn and Sydney Holloman served as flower girls.

The bride is a graduate of Peninsula Christian School.

She is employed as a Customer Service Representative for Framing Success in Virginia Beach.

The groom is a graduate of Hickory High School.

He is employed as an information system representative for @lantec in Virginia Beach.

Following a honeymoon to the Bahamas and Walt Disney World, the couple will reside in Suffolk.
